The SEB lead engineers have successfully installed a roof-mounted grid-tied project to provide secure, clean, and affordable solar energy to one of the major banks in Harare. Amos Chenamani, Daiyaan Mahomed, and Brian Kambasha worked together to ensure that the project, the first of its kind, is up and running to guarantee sufficient solar energy provision for the corporation.
Scottish Funding Council awards Sustainable Energy Botswana the Global Challenges Research Fund Award.
Sustainable Energy Botswana has become part of a historical, trailblazing solar power project in collaboration with the University of Glasgow, Scotland, and the College of Medicine located in the University of Malawi. The solar power project aims to provide clean energy solutions to the Blantyre Blantyre Research Facility while also ensuring that the health facility has 24/7 access to electricity throughout.
